Osaka Japan’s second largest city is known for its nightlife and foodie but with the flourishing crowd and the twin tower makes this a lively fun place to visit or live. It is located in the humid subtropical climate zone with 4 different seasons. The month of May witnesses the beautiful winters which offers wide variety of flowers. The region is well known for lavender which attracts tourists during summer.
Osaka was Japan’s first industrial and commercial hub until 20th century. The groomed shiny skyscrapers are the best scenery from above. Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Ischia Market, Universal Studio, Hozenji Temple, Shitennoji Temple, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Umeda Sky Building Winter Ski & Snowboarding are some of the tourist’s spots while visiting Osaka.
Greater Osaka has an extensive network of railway lines comparable to that of Greater Tokyo. Osaka is served by two airports outside of the city Kansai International Airport which handles primarily international passenger flights and Osaka International Airport which handles mostly domestic services and some international cargo flights.
